As a racing sailor I don't fully understand this but you don't have to own a boat to be a member of Lake Charles Yacht Club. In fact a majority of our members are not racing sailors but have a desire to socialize with the likes of us. Everyone is welcome to join and participate in any of the Events you would like, wherher it's private beach access for swimming crabbing off the docks watching the racers sail getting primo view of fireworks enjoying the Bar B Que pit or the fire ring grill or just good conversation.
